Pastor Jimmy Matthews will officiate and interment is in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Ms. Courson died October 17 at her residence. Born January 25, 1952 in Honolulu, Hawaii, she was the daughter of the late Allen Robert and Pauline Johnson Sims, who preceded her in death. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Candace Case, Jr. of Thomasville; daughter, Sherry Ann Ball of Leesburg; grandchildren, Hannah Case and Hailey Case both of Thomasville; sister, Faye Sims Young of Boston; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by a brother, William L. Akins. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. ? 8 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
