Allene White Williams

Funeral services for Allene White Williams of Thomasville will be Saturday, August 26, 2006 at 2:00PM at the First Baptist Church Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Milton C. Gardner and Rev. Dr. Dan Spencer will officiate and interment will be in Boston Cemetery. Mrs. Williams died August 22, 2006 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church. Born May 8, 1916, she was the daughter of the late John Henry White and Daisy Atta Green. On October 3, 1937 she was married in Monticello to John Lucas Williams who preceded her in death. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Larry O. and Sharon Williams of Parkland, Fl; a sister Carolyn Ketner of Thomasville; Grandchildren Troy Williams of Loxahatchee, Fl; Ralph Williams, Jr., of Tampa, Fl; John Williams of Las Vegas, NV; Bobby Williams of Las Vegas, NV; and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Leslie and Voncile Williams of Valdosta. She was preceded in death by sons Ralph L. and John R. Williams, graddaughter, Tracy Michelle Williams, sisters Mary Chiles, Irene Hatcher, Laura Norris, brothers, Robert White, Henry White, William White, Harris White, Joe White and Paul White.
