Services for Alma Irene Golden of Thomasville are at 11:30AM on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Carlton Bassett will officiate and interment will be at Barnetts Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Golden died June 20 at her residence. Born December 2, 1912 in Cairo, GA she was the daughter of the late William Wesley and Catherine Paulina Cumba Watts. She was married to Russell B. Golden who preceded her in death. Mrs. Golden was a member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Margaret Golden of Cape Coral, FL; sister, Inez Rigdon of Merritt Island, Fl; grandchildren, Linda and Lloyd Higgs of Thomasville, Diane and Bill Schulz of Weston, FL, Benjamin and Debra Golden of Thomasville, Pauline and Mark Silvia of Miami, FL, Lynn Carroll of Cape Coral, FL, Stanley and Patricia Golden of Thomasville, Debra and Victor Balmaseda of Miami, FL, Steve and Lori Golden of Thomasville, Donna and Wilfredo Serrano of Miami, FL, twenty two great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughters, Mary Golden Utley and Nancy Louise Cox and son, Franklin Benjamin Golden. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Inc., P.O.
