Services for Alma Koon Gunter of Thomasville are at 2:00PM on Thursday, June 12, 2003 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Gordon Gunter will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Bo Bertchey, Richard Moseley, Alan Hudson, Jason Gunter, Earl McCabe and Tommy Williams. Mrs. Gunter died June 10, 2003 at Archbold Memorial Hosptial. Born February 21, 1922 in Lanette, Ala., she was the daughter of the late Joseph Wheeler and Sarah Elizabeth Abner Koon. In July 1941 she married Lee Brannon Gunter who preceded her in death on August 30, 1984. Mrs. Gunter was a homemaker and a member of Dawson Street Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Oz Moseley of Thomasville, sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Mary Jane Gunter of Greenville, S.C. and Gordon and Judy Gunter of Jacksonville, Fl.; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
