Alonzo L. Davidson

Graveside services for Alonzo L. Davidson of Thomasville are at 2:00PM on Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at Laurel Hill Cemetery on Georgia Street. The Rev. Kevin Odom will officiate. Mr. Davidson died on February 15, 2004 at the Brian Center. Born June 15, 1907 in Cherokee Co., N.C., he was the son of the late John Palmer and Rosa Lee Lovingwood Davidson. He was married to Estell Brannon Davidson who preceded him in death. He was employed at Flowers Baking for 45 years. He was the owner of Miccosukee Boat Landing. He was an avid fisherman and loved the outdoors. Survivors include a son, Doug Davidson and daughter, Ann Davidson both of Thomasville; nephew, Reid Prosser of Thomasville and niece, Frances Annis of Warner Robins, GA.
