Services for Alton A. Goodbread, 83, of Coolidge are 1 pm, Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Charles Neely will officiate. Mr. Goodbread died July 5, 2008 at his residence. Born December 10, 1924 in Brooks Co, he was the son of the late Phillip Eugene Goodbread and Maggie Yates Goodbread. He was married to Martha Joyce Deloach Goodbread, who preceded him in death. Survivors include daughter & son-in-law, Brenda & Robert Blankenship of Coolidge, grandchildren, Renee & Ronnie Daughtry, Michelle & Frankie Walden, great-grandchildren, Ethan Daughtry, Bailey Daughtry and Elizabeth Walden. He was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Eugene Goodbread, June Crow, Howell Goodbread, Ralph Pete Goodbread and Margaret Goodbread. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southwest Georgia, 818 Gordon Ave, Thomasville, Ga 31792. The family will receive friends 12:30 to 1:00 pm before the service.
