Alvia Florene Baldwin

June 23, 1932 — December 18, 2021

Mrs. Baldwin, A.K.A "Flo" And "Gma," to her many Grandbabies, was born June 23, 1932, in Cairo, Georgia. On Saturday, December 18th, she passed away peacefully at Archbold Memorial Hospital surrounded by family. She attended Interior design school in Brownsville, TX. She also attended college to study Office Management, and became an Executive Secretary. She worked at various appointments throughout the years including the the Florida Capital, Flowers Baking Company and Flowers Industries, Thomas County Schools, and then St. Thomas Episcopal Church as Secretary under Father Charles Hay in the 1980's before marrying Edwin R. Baldwin in May of 1980, and moving to California. She loved gardening and reading to children at the library as a Friends of the Library Member. She was a member of the Cactus Wren Country Club in Apple Valley, California. She was preceded in Death by her Husband, Edwin, and her daughter, Linda Lee Harto. She is survived by her Son Daniel (Diane) Blow, her Grandchildren, Lisa Martin (Ashley), Timothy Blow, and Emily Blow. She also had 5 Great Grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She loved her church family at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Thomasville.
Friend and Family are invited to celebrate her life by attending a service starting at 12 noon at St. Thomas Episcopal church on Thursday December 23rd, followed by a lunch fellowship directly after the service. Family and friends are invited to visit her online tribute page at www.allenfh.com
