Services for Alvin Lee Beatty, 27, of Boston are 7 pm, Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Dr. Don Prevatt will officiate. Mr. Beatty passed away July 9 in Cleveland, GA. Born May 7, 1984 in Thomasville; he was the son of Alvin Lin Beatty of Boston and the late Catherine June Bullock Beatty. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Rufus George Bullock, Jr., and paternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. Oscar Walter Beatty. He worked at Unicoi State Park in Helen, Ga and was a 2002 graduate of Thomas County Central High School. Lee was a wonderful person with a great love for friends, family and music. There was a very special place in his heart for his niece and nephew Issac and Kaylin. Other survivors include sister Marie June Beatty Franklin of Boston; nephew Issac Lee Franklin; niece Kaylin Gabrielle Franklin and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
