Funeral services for Alvis Oneal Nazworth, 75, of Moultrie, are 2 pm, Wednesday, June 13, 2007 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel with interment in Laurel Hill. Rev. Andy Hall will officiate. Mr. Nazworth died June 9, 2007 at Providence Hospital in Mobile, Ala. Born Feb 5, 1932, in Grady, Co., he was the son of the late Maston Oneal & Verna Gladys Martin Nazwoth. On December 8, 1955, in Camilla, he married Theresa Meaney Nazworth, who precedes him in death. He was retired from the United States Air Force as a Sgt. of the Mess Hall, was a member of East Pelham Baptist Church and VFW. Survivors are daughters & sons-in-law, Mona & Ted Snook, of Lourdes, Newfounland; Verna & Tim Reece, of Mobile, Ala; Delena & Artie Butler; of Pelham; daughter, Delilah B. Nazworth, of Thomasville; sons & daughters-in-law, Charles & Martha Nazworth, of Thomasville; Duncan Dewayne & Tisa Nazworth, of Jackson, Gap Ala; sons, Alvis P. Meaney, of Birmingham, Ala; James J. Nazworth, of Calif; brother & sister-in-law, Larry Nazworth, of Huntsville, Ala; brother, Jerry Nazworth, of Gainsville, FL; 18 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
