How do you fill a page with words about a person as special as Angela? She was simply extraordinary. She drew inspiration from the struggles and grace of a grandmother who felt that family bonds extended across generations. When I wrote my wedding vows, I described our love as a lighthouse, and whatever the light shone on was safe and cared for. Angela was that light. Wherever her light fell, whether on a person, a pet, or a place, all were cared for and knew love. She was fierce and defended the things she loved with passion and commitment beyond understanding. She was always open to the next adventure and guardian of stories that most had forgotten. She is irreplaceable, and the hole her absence leaves is something that even time won't heal. She was loved deeply by those who surrounded her and knew it with every breath she took. I called her Angel from the first time we met, and if there is anything right in the world, those she leaves behind will see her again. And when that time comes, we'll know her from the light of her eyes, her smile, and the sound of her laughter ringing in our ears.
