Angela Owens

Angela Lynn Owens, beloved sister, aunt, cousin and niece, passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021. Angela was 64 years old and fought valiantly against Alzheimer’s for more than five years.
Angela worked as an accountant and served as the Deputy Treasurer for Rogers County in Oklahoma. She retired after almost 23 years, before leaving to help care for her mother who passed away in 2014.
Those who knew Angela described her as a wonderful friend to all and a gentle spirit throughout her life. She loved her family and friends, but most especially, her nieces and nephews and her five great nieces.
Angela will be missed by all who knew her. She impacted all our lives in a positive, loving and fun way. She will be missed every day until we all meet again.

Angela is preceded in death by her mother and father, Anne and James Owens. Survivors include two sisters, Tamara (Tammy) Owens and Gina Owens, and one brother, Tommy Owens (Robin) and aunt, Deuane Duncan. Nieces and nephews, Joshua Owens (Amber), Kaleigh Owens (Mike), Sabra Howerton (Jayden), James “JW” Owens and Elyse Owens. Great nieces are Savanna, Kinley, Mayble, Harleigh and Georgia. She had many special friends and extended family members including Fawnda BlueJacket (Jordann), Allison Bowen and Stephen Randolph.
