Services for Angie "Koula" Poulos will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 10:45 am at the Holy Mother of God Greek Orthodox Church of Tallahassee, followed by a Makaria (fish luncheon). A visitation will be held on Friday, January 3, 2025, from 4 to 6 pm at the Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel with a Trisagion service at 5:00 pm. The committal service will be on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Angie Poulos passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at the age of 82. She was born on November 21, 1942, in Stenoma, Greece to the late Constantino Koutsokali and Athanasia Koutsokali.
Angie was a member of the Greek Orthodox Church of Tallahassee. She was very active in her church, including baking and various events with the church as well as being a seamstress making altar covers and altar boy robes. She was also a long-time member with the Ladies Philoptochos Society locally and with the Metropolis of Atlanta. She was very active with everything she did. She married Andrew Poulos in 1964, and they shared 60 years of marriage.
Survivors include her husband Andrew Poulos, children Spiro Papadopoulos and his wife Jennifer of Greensboro, GA, and Dino Papadopoulos of Kennesaw, GA, grandchild Andrew Spiro Papadopoulos, sister Margaret Bakogiannis, and half-sister Helen Georgakis, followed by many nieces and nephews.
