Services for Anita Carol Spikes Hammock of Cairo are at 2:00PM on Thursday, March 25, 2004 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Dr. Julian Pipkin will officiate and interment is in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Hammock died March 22, 2004 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born September 6, 1959 in Thomasville she was the daughter of the late Houston Spikes and Onita Spikes Lawler who survives. She was married to Frank Hammock who survives. Mrs. Hammock was a member of Gateway Christian Church. She worked in medical records at Glen Mor Nursing Home and formally worked at Archbold Memorial Hospital on the switchboard. Survivors include her husband, Frank Hammock of Cairo; mother and stepfather, Onita and Max Lawler; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Tammy Spikes; niece, Tiffany Spikes; stepbrother and sister-in-law, Steve and Mary Lawler, stepsister, Connie Plymel, stepbrother, Larry Lawler, stepsister and brother-in-law, Dewey and Beverly Burnum; stepdaughter and husband, Kris and Al Weeks, stepson, Greg Tillman, stepdaughter and husband, Kellie and Randy Holton, stepdaughter, Taylor Titus, step-grandchildren, Hunter Foster, Dylan Foster, Colby Weeks and Alex Weeks.
