Ann Wahl Stipe
Ann Wahl Stipe, died December 25, 2005 in Orlando, Florida. She was born Marjorie Ann Wahl, November 26, 1929, the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Ernest F. Wahl of Thomasville, Georgia. She was a graduate of Thomasville High School, Class of 1948. She graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the College of Arts and Science and from Georgetown University with a Master's Degree in Medical Technology. She married Richard D. Stipe, a Korean War veteran, of Easton, PA. on November 27, 1954. She has lived in Orlando since 1966 and was a member of Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed gardening, many types of art and a member of the Orlando Orchid Society and the Orland Watercolor Society. She is survived by her husband, Richard Stipe of Orlando; her brother, Ernest F. Buddy Wahl, Jr. and his wife Anne of Thomasville, Georgia; sons Tom Stipe and wife Beth of Pendleton, South Carolina and Marty Stipe and his wife Marianne of Salem, Oregon; grandchildren Eric and Anna Stipe of Salem, Oregon and Matthew, Daniel, Melody, David, Amy, and Hannah Stipe and Laura Arflin of Pendleton, South Carolina; and one great-grandson, Drew Grindstaff of Pendleton, South Carolina. There will be a memorial service in the chapel of the First Presbyterian Church of Thomasville, Georgia on Friday, December 30, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. Keith Hill officiating.
