Funeral services for Annie Heald Watkins of Thomasville will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2002 Graveside at Fredonia Cemetery at 10:00AM. The Rev. Charles Neely will officiate. Mrs. Watkins died Monday, July 15, 2002 at Tallahassee.She was born January 17, 1921 and raised in Thomasville Ga. She was a daughter of the late Charles L. and Lillie Wages Heald. She attended Fredonia School for her early education and graduated from Thomasville High School in 1938. She attended Georgia Southern Womens College and Graduated from Valdosta State College. Mrs. Watkins worked at many jobs in her lifetime, she was a homemaker, farmer and teacher. She was a baptist and attended church regularly until her health denied her this privilege. She is survived by her children, Samuel Harrison Watkins and Harriett Williams Watkins of St. Mary Fl; Annie Susan Watkins Dunham and husband W. Steven Dunham of Havana, Fl and Lillie Carolyn Watkins Beals and husband David D. Beals of Tallahassee Fl; and grandchildren, Wendy Rarick, Russell Rarick, Blakeley Beals, Devin Beals, Samantha Watkins and Hugh Watkins. Mrs. Watkins is also survived by her nieces Norma Jean Heald Duren , Christa Heald Carter and 4 great nieces 2 Great nephews. 7 great great nieces and and 2 great great nephews.
