Annie Kate Alley Johnson

Graveside services for Annie Kate Alley Johnson, 87, of Thomasville are 10:00 am, Saturday, April 12, 2008, at Laurel Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Dan Spencer and Rev. Larry Harris will officiate. Mrs. Johnson died April 10 at Golden Living Center. Born May 20, 1920 in Walnut Grove NC, she was the daughter of the late Fate & Carrie Nelson Alley. In 1936, in Brooks Co. she married Hilton Shorty B. Johnson, who preceded her in death. She was a homemaker, a member of First Baptist Church, an avid yard worker and gardner. Survivors include son & daughter-in-law Mac & Abbie Johnson, grandchildren, Kathy & Jimmy Wilson, Jeanna & Michial Mayhall, David & Angie Johnson, great-grandchildren, Jamey Wilson, Alley Wilson, Endsley Wilson, Pryce Mitchell, Carly Mayhall, Cooper Mayhall, Hilton Johnson, Dorminy Johnson, Jessica Cashwell, great great-grandchild, Ty Cashwell. She was preceded in death by brother, Carlos Alley, sisters, Virginia Alley Cashwell, and Doris Alley Dees Rogers.
