Services for Annie Lee Lairsey of Cairo are at 2:00PM on Sunday, May 16, 2004 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Robert E. Nipper, Sr. will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers are Frank Adams, Donnie Lairsey, Jerry Lairsey, Craig Ponder, Robert Nipper, David Ezell and Charles Allen Thomas. Mrs. Lairsey died May 13, 2004 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born November 16, 1921 in Cook Co., Ga. she was the daughter of the late Jessie G. and Verdie Lee Owens. She was married to William Thomas Lairsey who preceded her in death. Mrs. Lairsey was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith and was a homemaker. Survivors include daughters, Ann S. Sherrod, Reba Simpson both of Cairo, GA, Brenda Floyd of Las Vegas, NV, sons, William Thomas Lairsey, Jr. of Whigham, GA, Jessie David Lairsey, Sr. of Cairo, Tommy Jackie Lairsey of Texas; 17 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren; sisters, Louise Lairsey, Toye Cooper, Marie Glass and Carolyn Glass all of Moultrie.
