Arnold James Odom

Services for Arnold James Odom, 84, of Tallahassee, Fl. will be Sunday, March 24, 2002 at 2:00PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Rev. Clarence Gray will officiate with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Grandsons, Joshua Odom, Felton Cannon, Jr., Tony Love, Darrell Johnson, Lonnie Johnson and James Pegues will be pallbearers. Mr. Odom died at Tallahassee Community Hospital on March 21, 2002. He was born July 22, 1917 in Athens, Ga the son of the late Fate & Jessie Bray Odom. On September 3, 1938 in Moultrie, Ga he married Ruby I. Griffin Odom who survives. He was a retired owner of a gas station in Tallahassee and a member of Soul Support Pentacostal Church. Other survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Elizabeth Johnson of Monticello, Fl., Peggy & Felton Cannon, Darlene Green, Charyl & Tillman Scott all of Tallahassee, Martha & Ben Love of Alchua, Fl.; son and daughter-in-law, Randall & Gail Odom of Quincy, Fl.; daughter-in-law, Jo Ann Odom of Lloyd, Fl.; brother Emmitt L. Odom of Thomasville; sister, Lois Maese of Tallahassee; 19 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Buddy Odom.
