Arthur Henry Williams

Arthur Henry Williams, 91 passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 surrounded by his children. He was born on January 29, 1929 in Piedmont, Alabama to William Troy Williams and Lula Mae Miller Williams. At the age of 16 he enlisted with his parent’s permission to serve in the United States Air Force from 1945-1955. He retired as a Staff Sergeant. He retired October 2020 as a porter/greeter for Thomasville Toyota. He believed working hard was good for everyone and never slowed down. A special thanks to Gregg Isaacs and all his Toyota family for all the love and care over the years. Art is survived by his children, son Tyler Williams, daughter, Ashley Williams, step-son, Trevor Smith; grandchildren Stacey Bateman, Khy Butler, Rashelle Thompson and Miquela Smith. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Troy and Lula Mae Williams, daughter Regina Conley, brothers, Gerald Williams, George Williams, Paul Williams, Leonard Williams; sisters, Louise Sarratt and Jackie Balentine. Art enjoyed doing for others more than himself. He loved yard sales and bargaining for everything. His favorite movies were Home Alone, Smokey and the Bandit and Lionheart. Art was a loving father and friend and will be missed greatly.
