It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ashley Ramirez De Los Santos Corona, a loving wife, mother, daughter, and friend who left us too soon on April 18, 2026, in Electra, Texas. Born on March 16, 1995, in Bainbridge, Georgia, to her mother Tina Diaz Gipson, Ashley was a vibrant spirit who brought joy to all who knew her. She was the beloved wife of Irving De Los Santos Corona, with whom she shared her life in a beautiful partnership since their marriage on April 3, 2017, in Boston, Georgia.
A proud graduate of Thomas County Central High School, Ashley pursued her passion for the open road as a dedicated truck driver. Her adventurous soul was evident in her love for traveling and attending truck shows. Ashley cherished the moments spent at the beach with her family, always finding joy in the beauty of nature.
Ashley was deeply connected to her roots and cherished her family's traditions. She had a special fondness for cows, particularly longhorns and highland cows, and her laughter and warmth resonated in every gathering. Ashley was a steadfast supporter of her children, her husband, and all her family and friends, actively participating in their lives and encouraging their dreams.
Ashley is survived by her loving husband, Irving De Los Santos Corona; children Meredith Rose Mata and Emilio Xander De Los Santos; mother Tina Diaz Gipson and step-father David Howard Godwin; sisters Gracey Karen Ramirez of Bainbridge, Samantha Christie Godwin of Thomasville, and Casey Lane Zelaya of Houston; brother-in-law Hunter Bennett of Bainbridge, niece Cataleya Bennett, aunt Karen Malone of Bainbridge, and grandma Fide Licapa of Bainbridge.
Ashley is preceded in death by her brother Dylan Ramirez.
To honor Ashley's vibrant spirit, a service will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at 4 pm at The Gathering Church in Thomasville with pastor Randy Fields officiating. The pallbearers are Hunter Bennett, Victor Angel, David Godwin, Gracey Ramirez, Casey Zelaya, Irving De Los Santos Corona, Brandi Miranda, and Shane "Spanky". Honorary Pallbearers will be her children, Emilio De Los Santos and Meredith Mata.
We kindly ask those attending to embrace her love for color and life—NO black outfits, please, as Ashley would want us to celebrate her memory in joy and brightness.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Thomasville Humane Society.
In this time of loss, we find solace in the beautiful memories shared with Ashley. May her light continue to shine within our hearts.
