Austin William Milans of Quitman died September 21, 2003, at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Mr. Milans was born March 8, 1918, in Washington, D.C. He was an accountant and graduated from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania . He was a member and elder at First Presbyterian Church in Brunswick, GA and a member of the Ivy League Club, Optimist Club, and Mental Health Association. He was married for 58 years to Rossie Jones Milans who survives. Other survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Linda M. & John W. Bowles of Orange Park, FL and a son, Kenneth J. Milans of Sao Paulo, Brazil; brother-in-law, Knox Jones of Brunswick, GA. sisters-in-law, Catherine Milans of Bethesda, MD, and Lucille Lingerfeldt of York, S.C.; grandchildren, John William Bowles, Jr. and Catherine Rebecca Bowles.
