Autrey Holland Rennard

A Celebration of Life for Autrey Holland Rennard, 93, of Thomasville will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Dawson Street Baptist Church. The Rev. Lee Waller and Rev. Gary Holland will officiate and interment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Rennard passed away February 26th at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born August 30th, 1923 in Hartsfield, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Harrison Edgar Holland and Florene Corbin Holland.
On February 17th, 1956, in Thomasville, Georgia, she married George Herbert Rennard, who preceded her in death on January 7, 2012. Mrs. Rennard retired from Southern Bell Telephone Company after 35 years. In her retirement she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, reading, and cooking and sharing meals with her family and friends. She was a devoted member of Dawson Street Baptist Church and she lived her life sharing her faith. Mrs. Rennard will be remembered as a loving and giving wife, mother and Grandma to seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Survivors include two daughters, Mona (Ron) Wilkerson of Thomasville and Karen (Paul) Looper of Rincon, Georgia, and Step-son George Herbert Rennard, Jr. of Hardeeville, South Carolina.
Surviving Grandchildren are Kristie (Chad) Wooten, Marissa Wilkerson, Matt (Sarah) Wilkerson, Clint (Tara) Wilkerson, Natalie (Matt) Morris, Bryan Jenkins, Jr., Walker Jenkins and Brandy Culp, and a number of loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother E. W. Holland, and sisters Minnie Lee Cone, Nadine Stewart, Reba Fawn, and Inez Boockholdt. A special thanks goes to niece Ellen (Paul) Eisele.
