Azalene Joyner

Service for Azalene Joyner, 89, of Thomasville will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. A private interment will be at Boston City Cemetery. Mrs. Joyner passed away on May 5, 2013 at Pinewood Nursing Center. Born June 1, 1923 in Mitchell, Co., she was the daughter of the late Wilburn B. Crosby and Mattie Carr Crosby. She was married to J.M. Joyner who preceded her in death. Mrs. Joyner was the owner of Joyner's Country Store in Beachton, GA. Survivors include daughter Peggy L. Moore of Cairo; grandson Ken Johnson of Cairo; granddaughter Buffie Reeves of Vada; great-grandson Heeth Brinson of Thomasville; and great-granddaughter Chelsea Brinson of Thomasville.
