Services for Azoline Murphy Brown, 99 of Thomasville will be held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Merrilliville Baptist Church where she was a member. Rev. Charles Neely and Rev. Richard Allbritton will officiate and interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Brown passed away April 18 at Brooks County Hospital. Born November 13, 1913 in Coolidge, she was the daughter of the late Gus Murphy and Annie Murphy. She was married to Cecil L. Brown who preceded her in death in 1986. She is survived by her children, Jack Brown and wife Mary of Boston, Laverne Brown and wife Carol of Tallahassee, Lamar Brown and wife Margaret of Thomasville, Ann Bell of Thomasville, Martha Vick of Enterprise, Ala and Sonny Brown and wife Carol of Dixie; sister, Nell Brown of Coolidge; sisters-in-law, Dorothy Murphy of Coolidge and Mildred Brown of Atlanta; 15 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, Harry Murphy and Maurice Murphy. The family will receive friends 5-7:30 pm, Saturday at Merrillville Baptist Church Social Hall.
