B.W. Bishop

Services for B.W. Bishop, 83 of Thomasville will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 28, 2021 at the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. Rev. Gerald Horne will officiate and interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Bishop passed away February 24, 2021 at his residence. Born September 26, 1937 in Cairo, Ga., he was the son of the late Edwin Bishop and Myrtle Griffin Josey. On May 29, 1959 in Bradenton, Fl., he married Sharon Christlieb Bishop, who survives. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, was a retired truck driver with Ag Pro and was of the Christian Faith. He is also survived by his children, Greg Bishop of Boston, Robert Bishop of Quitman and Elaine Baggett of Thomasville; grandchildren, Marcia Roberson, Robert Alan Bishop, Nicole Cordwell, Crystal Bishop and Joseph Baggett; sisters, Charlene Underwood of Thomasville and Linda Stewart of Cairo and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers & sisters.
