Memorial services for Baker E. (Beau) Watkins, IV, 33, of Thomasville will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday February 26, 2017 in the chapel of Allen & Allen Funeral Home. Jimmy Clanton will officiate. He passed away February 23, 2017 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan,
Alabama. Born on February 14, 1984 in Houston, Texas, he is the son of Baker E. Watkins III and Cindy Davenport Massey who both survive. Beau was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed fishing. He also loved being with his family and friends. Beau is survived by his father, Baker E. Watkins III (Barbara) of Thomasville; mother, Cindy Davenport Massey (Paul) of Cairo; sister, Jenny Bertschy (Garret) of Thomasville; step-brothers, Bryant Paul Massey (Kayln) and TJ Benton; step-sister, Taylor Benton; nieces, Tayler Bertschy and Ryanne Bertschy; nephew, Hayden Bertschy; maternal grandparents, Pete and Mary Davenport of Hot Springs, Ark; grandfather, C.C. Hicks; aunts, Joyce Kuykendoll, Nancy Huddleston and Sheila Massey Tucker (Bruce); uncle, Tracey Davenport (Jenny); cousins, Walt Killingsworth (Ceri), Amy Fix (Josh), Mitch Killingsworth (Lisa), Heather Huddleston, Shannon Huddleston. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Lynley Elese Watkins, and grandparents, Baker E. and Ethel Watkins Jr. His family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday evening from 4:00-6:00PM.
