Barbara Joanne Beaty

Funeral services for Barbara Joanne Beaty, 79, of Pavo will be 3:00PM, Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Pavo Baptist Church, where she was a member. Rev. Tim Vanlandingham will officiate and interment will be at Lebanon Cemetery. Mrs. Beaty passed away October 27, 2016 at Cobblestone Health and Rehab. Born January 30, 1937 in Coolidge, she was the daughter of the late Muriel Ware Gardner and Jessie Lee Gardner. Mrs. Beaty was a pharmacy tech for over 40 years, working at Herndon Drug Store in Pavo and Rite Aid in Quitman and Thomasville. She was married to Beverly Beaty for 61 years, who survives. Other survivors include sons, Mitch Beaty (Debra), Mike Beaty (Norma), and Mark Beaty all of Pavo; grandchildren Cristi Beaty, Adam Beaty, Joel Beaty, and Chad Beaty, and 5 great grandchildren.
