Memorial services for Barbara Frances Carmen, 84 of Thomasville will be held at 10:00am, Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Trinity Anglican Church, 325 W. Jackson St, Thomasville, Ga 31792. She was born May 29, 1927 in Union City NJ; Passed into the arms of the Savior after a sudden illness Jan 19, 2012 at Golden Living Center. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Cerniglia; father Mario Cerniglia; brothers Bill and Al Cerniglia; niece JoAnn Whatley; grand-niece Billy-Jo Carmen; and nephew Scott Cerniglia. She is survived by her husband of 65 years George Carmen; daughter Deb Carmen; sisters-in-law Eloise and Jeanne Cerniglia; nephews Carl, Nelson, Eric, Mark, and Randy Cerniglia; 8 grand-nieces and nephews; and 8 great-grand-nieces and nephews. Barbara was steadfast in her Christian faith throughout her life. Her angelic singing voice graced church choirs in southern Florida and in Thomasville for many years. She was also a talented artist and a wonderful cook. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trinity Anglican Church, 325 W.
