Services for Barbara Jean Sangster Willis, 88 of Thomasville will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, December 29, 2024 ay the Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel. Rev. Mike Keown will officiate and interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. An Angel went home on Christmas Day! Born September 30, 1936 in Forsyth, Ga; she was the daughter of the late Willie Albert and Mary Frances Stuart Sangster. She is survived by her husband Jack Willis, who she married on December 27, 1957. She worked as secretary at Jack's TV & Repair with her husband and she loved helping in the kitchen at First Newark Baptist Church, serving others. Other survivors include her children, Beverly Holt & husband Rodney and Joe Willis and wife Rhonda, all of Thomasville; grandchildren, Chris Holt and wife Shelley, Chance Holt and wife Shelley, Preston Willis, Jacob & Trina Willis, DJ & Loren Willis and Christopher Willis; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Frank Sangster and wife Phyllis of Ft. Myers, Fl. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, June Pritchard, Sammy Sangster and Joy Thompson. The family will receive friends 1-2pm, Sunday, before the service at the funeral home.
