It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Belinda Joy Joiner, a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend, who left us peacefully on August 22, 2024, at the age of 60. Born on September 13, 1963, Belinda lived a life full of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family. Belinda shared a beautiful life with her loving husband, Wayne Joiner. Their partnership was a testament to true love and commitment. Belinda's greatest joy in life was her role as a mother and grandmother. She was deeply devoted to her four grandchildren: She delighted in their company, cherished their achievements, and was always there with a warm embrace and a word of encouragement. Her love for them was boundless, and she created countless memories that will be treasured forever. Belinda's faith was a guiding light in her life. Her love for the Bible shaped her values and inspired those around her. She found comfort and strength in her faith, and her spiritual devotion was a testament to her deep and abiding relationship with God. Belinda was also known for her dedication and hard work. She was employed by Trumarx Pharmacy for over 30 years, where she built meaningful relationships with her colleagues and customers. Belinda is survived by her husband, Don Wayne Joiner; her beloved son, Cody Joiner, and his wife, Trisha; and her dear mother, Darla Bentley, her sisters Laura Stevenson (Mike); Donna Lamon (Stewart); her grandchildren Mackenzie Hudgins, Dillon Joiner, Hanna Joiner, and Hayden Joiner. nieces Amanda Payne (Levon), Alston Stevenson, and Katie Lamon; and nephews Justin Highland and Brandon Marshall. She is also survived by her great nieces Scarlett Payne and Izzy Highland, and her great nephew Barrett Payne. She was preceded in death by her father, Durmon Bentley, and her brother, David Lee Mattox Bentley, Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and her presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. We extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Josh Simmons and Dr. Geoffery Deutsch for their exceptional care and dedication throughout Belinda’s journey. Their expertise, compassion, and unwavering commitment have been invaluable during these past six years. We also want to recognize and thank the incredible nursing and clinical staff whose kindness and professionalism provided comfort and support every step of the way. Your collective efforts have made a profound difference in our lives, and we are truly grateful for your care and support during this challenging time. Visitation will be held at Allen & Allen Funeral Home on Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Laurel Hill Cemetery with Reverend Ricky Whitley officiating. Belinda will be forever remembered for her deep love for her family, especially her grandchildren, and the lasting impact she made on everyone who knew her. Her legacy of love and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were touched by her life. “Everything’s going to be alright”
