Mr. Bass died Mar. 10 at his residence. Born August 31, 1952 he was the son of the late Benjamin Franklin Bass, Sr. and Ruby Elizabeth McElveen Bass. On December 30, 2004 in Thomasville he married Charlene Virginia Smith Bass who survives. Mr. Bass worked in construction. Other survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher Michael and Morgan Bass of Coolidge, GA, Brian Ashley and Melissa Bass of Fernandina Beach, FL, son, Chance Ansley, daughter, Jessica Brooks both of Thomasville, daughter and son-in-law, Venice and John Logue of Whigham, GA, daughter, Amy Anderson, son, Jack Godwin, Jr. both of Cairo, GA; grandchildren, Marley Bass, Draven Bass, Gavin Brooks, Kade Brooks, Clay Ulmer, Kenan Lacy, Ansley Lacy, Julie Godwin; sisters, Ruby Jackson of Thomasville, Cheryl Williams of Panama City, FL and brother, Gene Bass of Starke, FL.
