Funeral Services for Benita Cheryl Phillips will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Chapel with Reverend Gregg Roberts officiating. Visitation will be from 1-3pm prior to the service on Saturday. Benita Cheryl Phillips, age 65, of Thomasville passed away, gone to be with Jesus, on June 13, 2023, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center. She was born on October 2, 1957, to the late Charles and Lanell Mobley Edwards. She was a devoted Christian, a lover of Jesus. She was a wonderful mother, wife and the rock that held the family together. Benita loved hard and unconditionally. Survivors include her husband Eddie Joe Phillips of Thomasville; daughter Missy Jamison (Robbie Hutchinson) of Thomasville; sons Russell Joe Phillips of Thomasville, and B.J. Phillips (Heather Barrett) of Cairo; brother Timmy Edwards of Pelham; and grandchildren Caleb Phillips, Brianna Jamison, Garrett Maxwell, Marcus Phillips, Jake Jamison, Nathan Phillips, Maddox Hutchinson, and Raina Hutchinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Tommy Edwards, sister Tammy Swanson, and granddaughter Allie Leann Phillips.
