Services for Benjamin Franklin Golden of Thomasville are at 4:00PM on Saturday, December 7, 2002 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Pastor Alan McNabb will officiate with interment in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mr. Golden died December 4, 2002 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born September 2, 1933 in Thomas Co., Ga., he was the son the late Benjamin Russell Golden and Alma Irene Watts Golden of Hollywood, Fl. who survives. On January 7, 1956 in Miami, Fl. he married Margaret Dailey Golden who survives. He was a member of Moultrie Road Church of Christ and a roofer for Stanley Roofing Company. He was a decorated Korean War Veteran. Other survivors include sons & daughters-in-law, Benjamin William & Debra Golden, Stanley & Pat Golden, Steven & Lori Golden all of Thomasville, daughters & son-in-law, Pauline & Mark Silvia of Miami, Fl., and Lyn Carroll of Cape Coral, Fl.;11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to American Heart Assoc., c/o Vicki Lutes, P.O. Box 1999, Thomasville, GA 31799. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7-9PM on Friday.
