Bennie Leon Palmer

Funeral services for Bennie Leon Palmer will be on Monday May 13, 2002 at 11:30 AM at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel with Pastor Eric Tinsley officiating. Interment will be in Little Ochlocknee Cemetery. Mr. Palmer died Saturday May 11, 2002 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. He was born on Feb. 17, 1931 in Thomas County to the late Gordon Lowe Palmer and Lola Mae Bond Palmer. He was a retired electrician with Morgan Electric in Tallahassee and was a member of Drag Master. He was married on Oct. 30, 1959 in Ochlocknee, Ga. to Betty Jo Scoggins who survives. Other survivors include his sons Bennie Leon Palmer Jr. and Arnold Joe Palmer both of Thomasville, grandson Bennie Leon Palmer III of Thomasville, sisters Willa Mae NeSmith of Thomasville, Betty Jean Shackleford of Ochlocknee, and Gwen Palmer of Tallahassee.
