Bernadette Hawker Brannock, born on August 28, 1946, in Somerville, MA, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, at her home in Ochlocknee, GA. The daughter of Fred and Cecelia Martin, Bernadette was raised in Miami, Florida, where she was one of eleven children.
A dedicated Registered Nurse, Bernadette devoted her life to caring for others and also made a significant impact teaching children with special needs. Known for her big heart, she always placed the health and well-being of others above all. Bernadette is survived by her loving husband, William Brannock, and her daughter, Michelle Kopka and son, Bruce Allison. She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her son, Matthew Hawker.
No services are planned at this time. Bernadette will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
