Services for Bernice Jones Barnard, 85, of Cantonment, Florida are scheduled for 11:00 am, Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Jim Smith and Rev. Terry Barnard will officiate and interment will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Barnard passed away July 19, 2011 at the Sabal House Assisted Living Facility in Cantonment FL. Born January 9, 1926 in Brooks County, she was the daughter of the late Stella P. and Issac Bush Jones, Sr. Survivors include daughter Dianne Harris and husband Andrew Harris of Pensacola, FL; granddaughter Melissa Kelly and husband Nick of Dothan, AL; great granddaughter Sophie Kelly; sisters, Ruth Flowers, Betty Tucker and husband Gary, Margaret Alderman and husband Bobby; sister-in-law Maxine Gay McMillian; brothers Ed Jones and wife Catherine, Isaac Jones, and Tommy Jones. She was preceded in her death by sisters Jessie Wilson, Madlin Howell, and Bonnie Shierling. Memorial contributions may be made to Oak Grove Primitive Baptist Church, C/O Owen Cooper, 1230 Cooper Road, Barney, GA 31625.
