Funeral services for Bert Gordon Benton, 55, of Ochlocknee will be held 11:00AM, Monday, June 26, 2017 at Allen & Allen Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Walter Singletary will officiate. Mr. Benton passed away on June 23, 2017. Born November 17, 1961 in Tallahassee, he was the son of late Wesley Benton and Sandra Jean Ward Benton, who survives. Mr. Benton was self-employed as a dry wall specialist. He was attending First Baptist Church. He loved his jeep, the beach and his dog, Isabella. Survivors include sons, Bert Ryan Benton of Columbus, Ohio, Jeremy David Benton of Chillicothe, Ohio, Zachery Daniel Benton and wife Andrea of Columbus, Ohio, and Ethan Wesley Benton of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Weston Benton and Logan Benton; brother Mark Wesley Benton of Cairo, Georgia. The family will receive friends one hour before the service beginning at 10:00AM at the funeral home.
