Services for Bertie Singletary of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Keith Hill will officiate and interment is in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Singletary died April 5, 2003 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman, GA. Born December 9, 1902 in Grady Co., Ga., she was the daughter of the late Henry & Alice Bryant Stokes. In 1930 in Crawfordville, Fl., she married Crum Singletary who preceded her in death. Mrs. Singletary was a member of First Presbyterian Church, a homemaker and entered flowers in the Rose Show for 50 years. Survivors include a son Henry Singletary of Atlanta, GA., sister, Ruby Stokes of Thomasville, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Kenneth Singletary.
