Graveside services for Bettie Jones Coe of Thomasville are at 11:00AM on Saturday May 17, 2003 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Father Charles Bennett will officiate. Mrs. Coe died May 14, 2003 at Glenn Mor Nursing Home. Born October 2, 1920 in Thomasville, GA. she was the daughter of the late Thomas P. and Alice Burns Tharpe Jones. She graduated in 1941 with a Nursing degree from Roosevelt Hospital in New York City and retired from Archbold Memorial Hospital as a R.N. after 20 years. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Norman T. and Mary Coe of Thomasville, James C. and Nancy Coe of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; grandson, Jeffrey J. Coe of Dallas, TX. and granddaughter, Karen Coe of Minneapolis, MN. Memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Association, 1925 Century Blvd., Suite 10, Atlanta, GA 30345.
