Betty Jean Anderson

Betty Jean Anderson, 85, of Barwick, passed away on October 19, 2024. Born on December 25, 1938, in Cairo, GA, Betty was the daughter of the late Allen Godwin and Rener Rich.

A faithful member of Salem Baptist Church, Betty dedicated her life to family and faith. She was a beloved wife to the late Jerome Anderson, a devoted mother to Roger Wayne Anderson and Jerry Allen Anderson and wife Debora Weaver Anderson, and a cherished grandmother to Jessica Ruth Marie Anderson, Michelle Eller, Richard Allen Anderson, Chandra Eller, Taylor N Crosby, and Melani Sue Anderson. Additionally, Betty leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren. She also leaves to cherish her memory, sisters Juanita Davis and Dorothy Bass.

Betty was dedicated to her work as a caregiver. She enjoyed puzzles, flowers, and jewelry.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandchild Todd Aaron Eller. A Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd at 2 pm at Rosewood Cemetery in Barwick. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 22nd from 5-7 pm at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
