Betty C. Holley

Services for Betty Chastain Holley, 71 of Sasser will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Ochlocknee Baptist Church. Pastor Mike Nichols will officiate and interment will follow at Ochlocknee City Cemetery. Mrs. Holley passed away February 26, 2024 at Wilson Hospice House in Albany. Born April 14, 1952 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late J.B. & Ollie Chastain. She was married to Harry Holley for 53 years, who survives. Mrs. Holley was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family. She also loved getting her hair and nails done and spending time at the beach. She is also survived by her children, Steve Holley (LeeAnn_ of Ochlocknee and Angie Hemby and husband Wayne of Grady Co; grandchildren, Laura Stokes, Jesse Holley, Cortney Hemby, Macy Hembree, Brandon Hembree, Haley Holley; 8 great grandchildren; brothers & sisters, J.L. Chastain, Sue Chastain, Margaret Stroud, Glenda Chastain, and Donna Carter. She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Diane Weeks, Patricia Regar and JoAnn Wilson. The family will receive friends 10:00am - 11:00 am, on Thursday, at the church, before the service.
