Betty Jean Satterfield

Graveside services for Betty Jean Satterfield of McDonough will be held at 11:00 AM at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Satterfield died Sept. 20, 2003 at the Hersey Medical Center in Penn. She was born October 27, 1940 in Thomasville to the late J. T. Jack and Odean Taylor Chastian. She was married April 10, 1974 in Riverdale, GA to Edgar Satterfield, who survives. Mrs. Satterfield was a homemaker and a member of the Bostom Primitive Baptist Church. Other survivors include a son Michael Gattis of Delonga, GA and a daughter Rhonda Posey of Buford, GA; 4 grandchildren and one sister, Elaine Hall of Avondale Estates, GA. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 PM Tuesday at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
