Betty C. Nobles

Funeral service for Betty Nobles will be held at 11:00am on April 21, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Thomasville. Visitation will be from 5-7pm Wednesday at Allen & Allen Celebration of Life Center. Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Betty Carswell Nobles, age 83, of Thomasville passed away on April 18, 2022. She was born in Hephzibah, GA on April 23, 1938 to the late Arthur and Edna Carswell. She married Leonard “Skip” Nobles on July 7, 1962 in Augusta. Betty was a member of First Baptist Church of Thomasville where she sang in the choir, attended Sunday School Classes, and retired as the church secretary. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, sewing, going to the beach and movies, watching humming birds, and Elvis. Survivors include her daughter Sherri Cain (Mark) of Thomasville; and grandchildren Jackson and Dalanie Nix. She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur E. Carswell and Edna Irene Kiser Carswell, husband Leonard Nobles, and son Len Nobles.
