Betty Dean Rhoden

Services for Betty Dean Benton Rhoden, 72 of Ochlocknee will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church. Rev. Gene Brock and Tanner King will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Billy Benton, Jr, Chris Griffin, Tanner King, Dylan King, Ethan Brooks and Stephen Ansley. Mrs. Rhoden passed away November 22 at Archbold Hospital. Born August 26, 1943 in Ochlocknee, she was the daughter of the late Henry Joshua Benton and Louise Simpson Benton. She was married to Willie Eugene Rhoden for 55 years, who survives. She was a member of Little Ochlocknee Baptist Church and was retired. She is survived by her children, Terri Clifford and husband Michael, Willie E. (Buddy) Rhoden, Jr and wife Morgan and Tony Rhoden and wife Lynn all of Ochlocknee; grandchildren, Kellie Clifford, Kristina Rue, Kristi Griffin and husband Chris, Carson Godwin, Chelsey Ansley and husband Stephen, Cassidee Brooks and husband Ethan, Dylan King and Tanner King; great grandchildren, Michael Clifford, Jr, Jayden Clifford, Anthony Clifford, Michael Kamerik, Oliver Kamerik, Sadie Grace Griffin, Logan Griffin, Keegan Ansley and Paisley Ansley; brother, Charles Benton and wife Betty of Ochlocknee; sisters, Polly Condon of Athens, Georgia and Janice Becknell and husband Brad of Orlando, Florida; sister-in-law, Barbara Benton of Ochlocknee and brother-in-law, AD Wilson of Ochlocknee. She was preceded in death by sisters, Sylvia Wilson and Sadie Golden and brother, Billy Benton. The family will receive friends 5-7pm, Tuesday at the funeral home.
