Betty Jean Roberson

Funeral services for Betty Jean Roberson 79 of Thomasville, Ga. will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday October 15, 2014 at Victory Baptist Church with her son David Roberson and Rev. Gary Holland officiating. Interment will be in Little Ochlocknee Cemetery. Mrs. Roberson died Sunday October 12, 2014 at Golden Living Nursing Home. She was born on January 7, 1935 in Reno, Ga. to the late Wilmer Zeigler and Daisy Strickland Zeigler. She loved her family and enjoyed fishing. Mrs. Roberson was a retired seamstress and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Hubert Anderson (Bud) Roberson and her brother James Wilmer Zeigler. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Debbie and Robin McEachin of Tallahassee, Fl; son and daughter-in-law David and Tricia Roberson of Thomasville, Ga; grandchildren Amanda and Chad Pursell, Courtney McEachin, Josh McEachin, Carrie McEachin, Brandon and Tanya Roberson and Casey and Josh Stanford; 8 great grandchildren; brothers Donald Zeigler and George Zeigler; sisters Jeanette Rhames, Faye Stanaland, Frances Tucker, Peggy Vonier; several nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening October 14, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 PM. Flowers are accepted or Donations may be made to Victory Baptist Church at 938 N.
