Betty Sue Gilley Midgette

A memorial service for Betty Sue Gilley Midgette, 79 of Quitman will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, March 26, 2017 at New Life Assembly of God in Quitman where she was a member. Rev. Arnold Hodum will officiate. Mrs. Midgette passed away March 21, 2017 at the Presbyterian Home in Quitman. Born December 8, 1937 in Slocum, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Lone Gilley and Maudie May Bell Shields Gilley. On November 6, 1954 in Columbus, Georgia she married William Earl Midgette who precedes her in death. She was a LPN for the Presbyterian Home. She is survived by her children, Richard Kent Midgette of Alma Georgia, Sondra Midgette Owens and husband Joey of Deland, Florida, Jeffery Midgette of Leesburg, Florida, Sandra Midgette Fritzinger and husband Rick of Ocala Forest, Florida and David T. Midgette and wife Holly of Quitman; grandchildren, Brandon Midgette, Matthew Midgette, Heather Fritzinger , William Richard Fritzinger, Stone Midgette, Brooklyn Midgette, Rita Ann Ansone and Richard Ansone; sister, Ruby Jeanette Messer of Quitman and brother, Ronnie Gilley of Dothan, Alabama. She was preceded in death by brothers and sister, Hershel Gilley, Moody Gilley, Frances Anderson and Henry Gilley.
