Services for Betty Sue Sherrod Tyson, 67 of Coolidge will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday 22, 2013 at Merrillville Baptist Church with Rev. Hugh Rockett officiating. Interment will be in Big Creek Cemetery. Ms. Tyson passed away October 16, 2013 at her residence. Born September 7, 1946 in Thomasville, she was the daughter of the late Clifford Sherrod and Susie Eddings Sherrod. She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Becky Tyson Clark and Michael Clark of Coolidge and daughter, Joyce Tyson of Boston; grandchildren, Stanley James Edenfield, Brian Keith Kennedy, Dustin DeWayne Kennedy, Meagan Brooke Raker, Danielle Marie Clark and Austin Branson Clark; great grandchildren, Haley Nicole Edenfield, Haven Cheyenne Kennedy, Payton Michael and Kensleigh Rebekah Smithwick. She was preceded in death by sister, Joann Sherrod Lott and brother, Robert Franklin Sherrod. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00- 8:00 PM at Allen & Allen Funeral Home.
