Betty George Williams Toole was born on September 30, 1932 and joined her husband and love of her life in heaven on August 25, 2024.
Born and raised in Leesburg, Florida, she attended Centre College and UNC-Chapel Hill where she was a member of the Kappa Delta sorority. She was introduced to Richard Toole in church by friends, and they were married for nearly 70 years.
Active in her church in Groveland Florida she devoted her life to her husband and children, but always loved playing cards with friends and going to the beach. After moving to Thomasville Georgia she continued her love of yard work and enjoyed spending time with friends, her grandchildren and later, her great grandchildren. In later years her activities lessened but her sharp wit and powers of observation remained strong.
She is survived by her daughter Teresa Lynn Toole, her son Dana George Toole and daughter in law Lesley Erin Toole, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that any donations be made to the Edge Memorial Methodist Church of Groveland Florida.
