Funeral services for Betty Williams of Thomasville will be Saturday, November 2, 2002 at 11:00AM at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. Rev. Leigh Ann Raynor will officiate with interment in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Williams died on October 31, 2002 at Archbold Memorial Hospital. Born August 7, 1922 in Athens, Ga., she was the daughter of the Late Hamlin H. & Mary Bray Callahan. She was married to the late James E. Williams. She was a Secretary to the Superintendent of Thomas County School Board and Title One Cordinator. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, a beloved wife, mother & friend. She cherished birds, flowers, her beloved pets and all of nature. She will be remembered for her wonderful smile, great wit & tremendous courage and unconditional love for family & friends. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Craig & Judith Williams of Neptune Beach, Fl.; brothers Hamlin H. Callahan, Jr. of Baldwin, Ga., James A Callahan of Carrolton, GA. and several nieces & nephews.
