Services for Betty Jean Dinkins Monday, 74, of Thomasville, are at 4 p.m., Monday, December 1, 2008 at Allen & Allen Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Chuck Smith will officiate and interment is in Long Branch Church Cemetery in Cairo. Mrs. Monday died November 27, 2008 at Woodlands Living Center in Moultrie. Born May 20, 1934, in Cairo, she was the daughter of the late Pat Dinkins and Norma Jean Gleaton. Survivors include children, Ann Baker and husband, Dennis of Thomasville, Johnny Eugene Carnline and wife, Emily of Jennings, Fla. and Cindy Watson of Orange Park, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Jackie Hatcher of Havana, Fla.; brothers, James Dinkins of Leesburg and Robert Dinkins of Idaho. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald Eugene Carnline; and brothers, Mack Dinkins, Joe Dinkins and Charles Dinkins. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Visitors may sign the online guest register at www.allenfh.com .
